Red Stag TimberLab is a leading New Zealand manufacturer of engineered wood products, with a history of innovation dating back to 1958. Red Stag cross-laminated timber (CLT) is manufactured from New Zealand-grown Radiata Pine at its purpose-built manufacturing facility in Rotorua. Through SPEC Toolbox, structural engineers can select and assess Red Stag CLT panel configurations using manufacturer-declared characteristic strength and stiffness properties provided in the Red Stag TimberLab CLT Design Guide. The platform supports structural design calculations in accordance with the applicable provisions of NZS AS 1720.1. Project-specific structural verification remains the responsibility of the structural engineer. In addition to CLT, Red Stag TimberLab manufactures Vertix and GLTh beams and columns at its Rotorua facility, as well as traditional glue laminated timber (GLT) beams and columns at its Auckland manufacturing facility.
